Councillor Parth Gupta Hosts a Ward 6 Langar in Panchkula After His Oath-Taking

Councillor Parth Gupta marked his entry into elected office with a gesture rooted in service, organising a community langar in Ward 6 to celebrate his oath-taking and his new role as Municipal Councillor. The occasion brought residents together in large numbers, many of whom arrived to offer their blessings and best wishes for the responsibility ahead.

A Langar to Celebrate a New Responsibility

The langar — a community meal offered freely to all — was organised in the happiness of the oath-taking (shapath grahan) and of Parth Gupta becoming a Municipal Councillor. Built around the idea of seva, or selfless service, the gathering set a welcoming tone as the new councillor began his term representing Ward 6 in Panchkula.

People arrived in large numbers, turning the day into a warm meeting point between the newly elected representative and the community he now serves. Sharing a meal together, neighbours and supporters made the occasion as much about connection as celebration, with many coming in person to congratulate him.

Service, Respect and Public Connection

By the account shared alongside the photographs, the day reflected a beautiful atmosphere of service, respect and public connection (jansampark). The strong turnout underlined the goodwill surrounding Parth Gupta as he steps into the role, with well-wishers extending their congratulations and blessings for the journey ahead.

For Ward 6, the langar offered a simple, public start to a new chapter of civic responsibility — a shared meal that brought the councillor and local residents together at the very beginning of his tenure. It was, above all, a day defined by the good wishes extended for the new responsibility now in his hands.
