Parth Gupta Holds Baithak and Jan Sampark Drive in Ward 6, Panchkula

On a recent day in Ward 6, Panchkula, Councillor Parth Gupta held a community meeting (baithak) alongside a public-outreach campaign (jan sampark abhiyan). Sharing an update afterwards, he said the public extended full cooperation through both, with support coming in from across the ward.

Meeting residents and hearing their concerns

The focus of the day was direct conversation. Parth Gupta met people in person, listened to the problems they raised, and assured them that solutions would follow. His message carried a note of gratitude, thanking residents for the cooperation they extended during the meeting and the outreach campaign alike.

Describing the response, he said support was coming "from every home" — something he presented as a sign of the ward moving forward toward development.

Why jan sampark matters in a ward

A jan sampark abhiyan, or public-contact drive, gives residents a direct way to raise everyday civic issues with their elected representative without waiting for a formal forum. This particular update did not spell out individual complaints or specific commitments. Its message was simpler: the councillor was present in Ward 6, residents were heard, and they were given an assurance that their problems would be looked into.

For a local representative, that kind of face-to-face presence is a core part of staying connected with the community between elections.
