Parth Gupta Joins Ward 6 Residents for a 'Chai Par Charcha' in Panchkula

Residents of Ward 6 in Panchkula gathered over cups of tea on 5 May for a "Chai Par Charcha" (Discussion over Tea) session that brought neighbourhood conversation right to the doorstep. The informal outreach programme was hosted at the 29/17 residence of Shri Pawan Goyal, where Parth Gupta, the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Ward 6, spent time listening to and speaking directly with local residents.

A conversation over tea

Parth Gupta was joined at the gathering by Shri Gyan Chand Gupta, the former Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly), and the two engaged area residents in an open, face-to-face exchange. The relaxed setting of the tea session gave people from the neighbourhood a chance to share their thoughts and to talk about the road ahead for Ward 6 in Panchkula.

According to the update, a large number of supporters turned out for the programme. Those present expressed their support and their trust in the development of the ward, lending the gathering the feel of a community coming together rather than a formal political meeting.

A show of organisational strength

The gathering also brought out office bearers from the Mandal and booth levels of the party. Their attendance, the update noted, reflected the strength of the organisation on the ground in Ward 6 — a reminder of the network of local workers who help keep residents connected to those representing them.

Rounding off the session, Parth Gupta returned to a theme that ran through the conversation: that the support and trust of residents is itself the foundation on which a brighter future for Ward 6 will be built. The "Chai Par Charcha" format, with its emphasis on listening over speeches, underlined that message of partnership between the people of the area and their representatives.

For the residents of Ward 6, the session offered a direct line to raise concerns and to hear about the neighbourhood first-hand — the kind of ground-level contact that such doorstep gatherings are designed to encourage.
