Councillor Parth Gupta Meets Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at Haryana Raj Bhavan

Ward 6 Councillor Parth Gupta was part of a special meeting with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at the Haryana Raj Bhavan, an occasion he shared with the people of Panchkula through his social media. He was accompanied by his grandfather, former Haryana Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly) Speaker Gian Chand Gupta, for the meeting with the presiding officer of the Lok Sabha.

A Cordial Exchange on Public Service and Development

By the councillor's own account, the interaction was marked by a warm and personal conversation. The discussion turned to public service, development, and contemporary issues — subjects that sit at the heart of a ward councillor's day-to-day work in Panchkula.

For Parth Gupta, who represents Ward 6, such a conversation with the Speaker of the Lok Sabha offered a moment to reflect on the practice of governance at both the grassroots and the national level. The presence of Gian Chand Gupta, who himself has served as Speaker of the Haryana Assembly, added a further dimension of experience to the exchange.

Blessings and Guidance for the Road Ahead

The councillor noted that the meeting brought with it the guidance and good wishes of Om Birla. He described these blessings as a source of inspiration to continue working steadily in the field of social service.

Meetings of this kind carry symbolic weight for a public representative. They connect the concerns of a single ward — its streets, its residents and their everyday needs — to the wider framework of public life, and they reaffirm a commitment to the people who elected him.

For the people of Ward 6 and the wider Panchkula community, the update was a reminder of their councillor's continued engagement beyond the boundaries of the ward he serves.
