Transport Minister Anil Vij Visits Parth Gupta's Ward 6 Residence in Panchkula

Ward 6 of Panchkula saw a notable moment in its ongoing election campaign when Haryana's Transport Minister, Anil Vij, arrived at the residence of Parth Gupta, the Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate for the ward that covers Sectors 16, 17 and 18.

According to the update shared by Parth Gupta, the minister's visit was tied to the campaign already under way in the ward. Anil Vij extended his blessings and his support to that effort — a gesture that carries clear meaning in local contests, where visible backing from senior state leadership can strengthen a candidate's standing among voters and volunteers alike.

A morale boost for Ward 6

The occasion was described as one that filled party workers and supporters with fresh enthusiasm and renewed energy. Encouragement from a serving state minister often reinvigorates the people working on the ground, and Parth Gupta's update pointed to exactly that effect among those backing his bid across Sectors 16, 17 and 18.

Anil Vij holds the transport portfolio in the Haryana government, so his personal visit to a ward-level candidate's home stood out as a show of attention to the Panchkula contest. For the BJP's supporters in the area, the presence of a senior minister underlined the party's engagement with its Ward 6 candidate.

Support for the campaign

The update did not set out specific programmes, promises or plans; its focus was the solidarity extended to the campaign already in motion. The presence of a senior minister at a local candidate's residence is a familiar yet meaningful moment in electoral politics — a demonstration of unity meant to reassure supporters and reaffirm the party's commitment to the constituency.

For residents of Sectors 16, 17 and 18, the visit highlighted the link between the Ward 6 campaign in Panchkula and the wider Haryana BJP organisation. Parth Gupta's team framed the minister's blessings as a source of encouragement for the work ahead.
