Parth Gupta Invited as Chief Guest at SGFI District Wushu Competition, Panchkula

Parth Gupta, the Municipal Councillor for Ward 6 in Panchkula, has been invited to join the closing ceremony of the SGFI District Wushu Competition as its Chief Guest. Sharing the news, he said the invitation had filled him with a sense of joy and pride.

Cheering on the district's Wushu athletes

Wushu, a martial art contested as a competitive sport, was the focus of the district-level tournament held under the SGFI (School Games Federation of India) banner. Responding to the invitation, Parth Gupta directed his message towards the competitors themselves.

He said that encouraging talented athletes and wishing them a bright future was, for him, a matter of genuine honour, and he extended his heartfelt best wishes to every participant taking part in the competition.

The tone of his remarks reflects a recurring theme in his public engagements: backing young people and giving sport a visible place in community life. For a Ward 6 representative in Panchkula, moments like these connect civic leadership with the ambitions of local students and sportspersons.

Sport, youth and Panchkula

By accepting the role of Chief Guest, Parth Gupta lends official recognition to the effort of the district's young Wushu players. Closing ceremonies of this kind are occasions where achievement is acknowledged, and where encouragement from public figures can carry weight for athletes who are still early in their journey.

His message stays simple and forward-looking: celebrate the talent on display, and wish the participants well for what lies ahead. For families across Panchkula whose children train in disciplines like Wushu, visible support from an elected representative is a meaningful nod to their hard work.

The engagement adds to Parth Gupta's association with youth-focused and sporting activities in the region, reinforcing a steady message of support for young champions and fitness across the community.
