Parth Gupta Offers Prayers at a Sector 17 Temple in Panchkula

Newly elected Municipal Councillor Parth Gupta marked the day with a visit to a temple in Sector 17, Panchkula, where he bowed his head and offered darshan. According to the update shared from his official Instagram account, he prayed for the happiness, prosperity, development and public welfare of the area.

A Prayer for the Area

Parth Gupta was recently elected as the Municipal Councillor for Ward 6 in Panchkula. In the update, the temple visit was described as an act of seeking blessings for the region, placing community wellbeing at its centre — the post noted prayers specifically for the *sukh-samriddhi* (happiness and prosperity), development and welfare of local residents.

The moment itself was a simple one: a stop at a neighbourhood temple and the traditional gesture of *maatha tekna*, bowing the head and touching the forehead in reverence, before offering darshan.

Faith and Public Life in Panchkula

For Parth Gupta, the temple darshan struck a personal note at the start of his term as Ward 6 councillor — an expression of intent to keep the welfare of local residents at the heart of his work. The prayer he offered, as described in the post, was directed not toward himself but toward the broader prosperity and progress of the area.

The visit was accompanied by photographs from the temple, shared with the community online. While the update was brief, its message was clear: a wish for the collective good of the area he represents.
