Councillor Parth Gupta Meets Former President Ram Nath Kovind, Draws Inspiration for Public Service

Councillor Parth Gupta, who represents Ward 6 in Panchkula, shared that he had the privilege of meeting the former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind. The meeting took place at the residence of Shri Om Prakash Dhankar, where Parth Gupta described the occasion as a warm and personal exchange during which he was able to receive guidance from the senior statesman.

A Meeting Marked by Warmth and Guidance

For Parth Gupta, the encounter offered a valued opportunity to seek direction and counsel from a leader who has held the nation's highest constitutional office. He described it as a good fortune, and said the meeting and the conversation that followed left a lasting impression on him.

Interactions such as these, though brief, can shape the outlook of a local representative. For a councillor whose work is rooted in the daily concerns of his ward, time spent in the company of an experienced public figure is an occasion to reflect on the example set by those who have served at the highest levels.

Inspiration Drawn from a Life of Service

Parth Gupta said he drew inspiration from three qualities he observed in Shri Ram Nath Kovind: the depth of his experience, his simplicity, and his dedication to the service of the nation. These are values that sit close to the day-to-day responsibilities of a municipal councillor, whose work rests on remaining accessible to residents and steady in service.

By sharing the meeting publicly, Parth Gupta signalled the importance he places on learning from leaders whose careers have been defined by commitment to the country. The Ward 6 councillor extended his respect to both Shri Ram Nath Kovind and Shri Om Prakash Dhankar, at whose residence the meeting was held.

For residents of Ward 6 in Panchkula, the update offers a glimpse of the wider circles in which their representative moves, and of the ideals he says continue to guide his own approach to public life. This update was shared on Councillor Parth Gupta's Instagram (@parthguptabjp).
